It's on again! The Goldfields Environmental Management Group (GEMG) is pleased to announce the return of our biennial conference on Environmental Management, to be held in Kalgoorlie-Boulder from Tuesday 11 to Thursday 13 May 2027. Recognised as the premiere networking event on the environmental calendar, it is not to be missed!

For 2027, GEMG has moved to a Tuesday to Thursday conference schedule, with the Conference Gala Dinner to be held on the final evening. This format has been designed to encourage strong attendance across all three days of the program, maximising the value of presentations, technical sessions and networking opportunities for delegates, speakers and sponsors alike. The revised schedule ensures the conference concludes with the Gala Dinner networking event while maintaining a highly engaged audience through to the final session.

To help deliver this important event, GEMG is now inviting applications for the 2027 Conference Sponsorship Program. Sponsorship offers a valuable opportunity to showcase your organisation, strengthen you industry profile and support the continued success of the conference.

All sponsorship opportunities are now open for application. The following process will apply:

• Applicants will rank their sponsorship opportunity preferences using the form below, selecting a minimum of three (3).

• Where multiple organisations apply for the same sponsorship category, preference will be given based on the highest ranking nominated (e.g. a category listed as Preference 1 will be prioritised over the same category listed as Preference 3).

• Previous conference sponsors are warmly encouraged to apply and will be considered through the same application process.

• Where two or more organisations nominate the same sponsorship category with an equal preference ranking, a ballot will be conducted to determine the successful applicant.

• First-round sponsorship applications close 2 October 2026.

• Applications received after the closing date of 2 October 2026 will be considered in a second-round allocation process, subject to sponsorship opportunities remaining available.

• Successful applicants will be notified and provided with the sponsorship terms and conditions. Sponsorship acceptance must be submitted within 14 days of notification.

• Tax invoices will be issued upon confirmation of sponsorship. Payment is required within 30 days unless alternative arrangements have been agreed with GEMG. Failure to meet payment terms may result in forfeiture of the sponsorship opportunity.

• Successful applicants will be required to provide a company spiel and additional photos or images (optional) that can be used in social media posts and marketing materials.
