The Goldfields Environmental Management Group is hosting our biennial Conference on Environmental Management in Kalgoorlie-Boulder between
11 – 13 May 2027. Regarded as the premier networking event on the environmental calendar, it is not to be missed!
The conference invites over 350 delegates from across multiple environmental disciplines to the Goldfields to talk all things Environmental and Biodiversity Management, Rehab and Closure and Sustainability.
Conference Details
In 2027 the committee is mixing things up a little . Please note the following format changes:

Tuesday 11th May - Registration breakfast, presentations commencing after morning-tea, welcome function to close

Wednesday 12th May - Full day of presentations followed by Sundowner/networking opportunity

Thursday 13th May - Full day of presentations followed by Gala Dinner and awards presentation
It is recommended accommodation is organised as soon as possible.
Call for Abstracts
The Goldfields Environmental Management Group (GEMG) 2025 Conference call for abstracts is now open.
The committee encourages abstracts that facilitate audience participation, are on case studies, new and innovative information or a group presentation that could be brought together as a panel discussion. Alternatively, the poster exhibition will be back to accommodate a select number of unsuccessful presentations and those who would like to showcase their projects or work and are not comfortable public speaking.
